About the role
We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join Socure’s global engineering team and build scalable, reliable backend systems that power our identity verification and fraud prevention products.
What you'll do
- Build and own backend services, REST APIs, and microservices from design through production
- Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable application-layer systems
- Work on distributed systems, asynchronous workflows, messaging, retries, and fault tolerance
- Partner with Product, Infrastructure, Data Science/ML, and Engineering teams
- Improve performance, reliability, observability, and engineering standards
