Software Engineer III, In Test

About the role

As a Software Engineer in Test at Mitratech, you will safeguard the quality of our software products through a balance of automated and manual testing. You will design and maintain Playwright-based test automation, partner closely with developers to drive issues to resolution, mentor junior QA team members, and help evolve our QA practices, including the use of AI-assisted tooling.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain Playwright + TypeScript end-to-end test frameworks that follow the team's engineering standards for structure, naming, and reusability
• Develop and execute test plans and scripts, and perform integrated testing to confirm new features and fixes meet business requirements before and after release
• Migrate existing Selenium test suites to Playwright, replacing brittle XPath selectors with Playwright's recommended user-facing locators
• Integrate Playwright test suites into CI/CD pipelines, including parallel execution, sharding, retries, and publishing of test reports and artifacts
• Investigate and stabilize flaky tests using Playwright's Trace Viewer, UI Mode, screenshots, and video recordings
