Software Quality Automation Engineer – Python & Playwright

About the role

You'll work on sophisticated applications that control our analytical instruments, including mass spectrometers, electron microscopes, and other advanced scientific equipment.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based test automation frameworks from the ground up
• Build robust web application automation using Playwright with Python , following modern automation architecture and engineering practices
• Develop reusable automation libraries, utilities, fixtures, test-data components, and framework capabilities that can be leveraged across applications and teams
• Develop automated tests covering UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end workflows
• Translate product requirements, test cases and acceptance criteria into reliable and maintainable automated test scenarios

What you need

• 5–12 yrs of experience
