The apprentice will be trained on the job to install, commission and maintain rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems. Responsibilities include site survey and shadow analysis, procuring and checking system components, installing mounting structures and PV modules, DC/AC wiring, earthing and connecting the inverter and batteries, testing and commissioning, routine maintenance and troubleshooting, and explaining system use to customers.
