Solution Engineer

About the role

GE Vernova is seeking a Solution Engineer to join our HVDC team. This role will provide technical expertise for work associated with the HVDC reference solutions across the full solution lifecycle, with primary focus on working with the Solution Owner – Technical Lead on solution architecture, deployment support, regional enablement, technical governance, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Own technical activities to develop and maintain the HVDC reference solutions, ensuring consistency, scalability, standardization, and configurability
• Develop, maintain, and improve engineering documentation, technical guidelines, toolkits, templates
• Ensure technical interfaces are correctly identified, managed and verified with the appropriate engineering functions
• Provide technical support during ITO and OTR phases, ensuring reference solutions are correctly applied and having final approval for technical deviations from the…
• Collaborate with the engineering functions and subject matter experts as part of the team completing a DFMEA for the reference solutions
