Sourcing & Compliance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Sourcing & Compliance Engineer with expertise in electronics sourcing, supplier audits, and regulatory compliance. This role ensures that all materials, components, and finished products meet global safety, EMI/EMC, and certification standards while supporting supplier qualification, quality improvement, and production line setups for high-volume consumer electronics.

What you'll do

• Identify applicable global regulations, standards, and directives for new and existing products (RoHS, REACH, WEEE, CE, FCC, BIS, EMI/EMC, etc.)
• Ensure product and component compliance for safety, environmental, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC/EMI) requirements
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, certification files, DoCs, and test reports across all geographies
• Liaise with third-party labs, consultants, and certification agencies for product testing, validation, and regulatory approvals
• Monitor regulatory updates and assess their impact on existing SKUs, suppliers, and new developments
