Specialist, Data Engineer (Python, SQL, Databricks, Pyspark, Basics of AI/LLM)

About the role

As a Specialist in the Tech Market Economics Data Engineering team, you will join a rapidly growing team in builder mode, where curiosity, initiative and engineering excellence help shape Gartner's next generation of analytical platforms. Working alongside technical leaders and architects, you will help build, develop, and operate the data pipelines and services that power Gartner's quantitative research capabilities.

What you'll do

• Develop, test, and deploy production-grade, scalable data pipelines and AI-ready data products
• Partner with Product, Data Science, Economic Modelling and Research teams to productionize emerging capabilities and ensure they can be adopted reliably at scale
• Integrate data across a wide range of internal and external sources, including databases, APIs, analytical platforms and third-party systems
• Implement automated data quality frameworks, validation processes, and controls to ensure consistent, trusted, decision-grade data for analytics, AI
• Operate and continuously improve production data platforms, identifying bottlenecks, improving resilience and expanding automation opportunities
