About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented VAT Analyst to join our offshore tax operations team in Pune. The successful candidate will support European VAT compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions, leveraging VAT compliance software and ERP systems to ensure accurate, timely, and SOX-compliant indirect tax reporting.

What you'll do

• Perform VAT reconciliations between ERP systems, VAT compliance software, and general ledger balances
• Monitor filing calendars and ensure timely completion of compliance obligations
• Assist with VAT registrations, deregistrations, and maintenance of tax authority records
• Operate and maintain VAT compliance software, including periodic data uploads, validations, and return generation
• Perform data quality reviews and transaction-level validations
