About the role

The MA Controllership team oversees commission accounting and information provider royalty activities globally, partnering closely with Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Royalties Management to deliver accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and continuous process improvement.

What you'll do

• The Senior Accountant within MA Controllership owns the accurate and timely execution of commission accounting and information provider royalty accruals
• Advise on accounting treatment for commission plans, including expense recognition policy, and review new contracts for accounting implications
• Manage the global commission accrual and true-up cycle, including booking journal entries, performing account reconciliations
• Review and validate information provider setup and maintain the master information provider details file with calculation methodology, royalty rates, and payment terms
• Monitor, book, and adjust automatic and manual information provider accruals, perform quarterly reconciliations, and support variance analysis
