Sr. Engineer- Design

About the role

Own end-to-end delivery of the damper yoke / clevis / mounting interface components across the product development lifecycle—from concept and requirements definition through detailed design, validation, and launch support. Lead technical decision making, integration with adjacent suspension systems, supplier technical delivery, and ensure quality, cost, weight, durability, and timing targets are achieved.

What you'll do

• Lead design strategy and integration across damper, knuckle, control arm, spring module, bushings, fasteners, and vehicle package interfaces
• Drive packaging feasibility across full suspension travel, jounce/rebound, steering envelope, wheel envelope, brake clearance, and serviceability
• Lead DFMEA, DVP&R, design reviews, tolerance stack-up reviews, and release readiness for damper yoke components
• Define validation strategy for strength, durability, fatigue, stiffness, corrosion, abuse loading, and vehicle-level robustness
• Lead root cause analysis for cracks, deformation, durability failures, NVH/noise issues, fastener loosening, and interface concerns
