Sr. Engineer/Specialist – Sub-Frame Design

About the role

Responsible for the technical leadership and management of the design and development of Frame Carrier Assembly which comprises of frame carrier and frame extension brackets (Suspension Sub Frame or K-Frame, Rear Cradles etc) Responsible for all internal aspects of the chassis structural frames, considering design, materials, manufacturing know-how to execute the design, assembly & service-related points.

What you'll do

• Report to COE (Center of Excellence) for Axle & Mounts to technical direction and project interface/team to prioritise the programme objectives
• Design and Develop Frame Carrier for various range of extension projects from pre-concept to serial production with B2P Suppliers
• Create Project Plans for component, system and vehicle level. Highlight any deviation from plan at the earliest opportunity and instigate recovery plans
• Ensure component meets program cost, quality and relevant attributes targets set
• Create robust specifications/SORs and release to support all build phases in line with Vehicle Milestone targets

What you need
