About the role

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in the Development Engineering team at Micron Systems Integration Group (SIG), you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical fixtures, mechanisms, and finished equipment for semiconductor testing.

What you'll do

• Be responsible for designing and developing mechanical fixtures, mechanisms, and finished equipment for semiconductor testing
• Also perform analytical studies to determine optimal design considerations while directing support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing
• Perform Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to determine optimal air/fluid thermal designs
• Responsible for performing design work/analysis as a mechanical discipline lead on SIG projects
• Work with program managers to help build and update detailed project schedules
