Sr. Mechanical Engineer - Maintenance (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Utility Department at Sadara. This role is critical to the plant’s stability, focusing on the mechanical integrity, maintenance, and reliability of world-scale utility assets. You will be the go-to technical expert for troubleshooting complex equipment failures and optimizing the lifecycle of systems that power our entire petrochemical complex.

What you'll do

• Lead Maintenance Execution: Oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance of utility assets, including high-pressure boilers, steam turbines
• Advanced Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Lead formal RCA investigations for mechanical failures
• Steam & Water System Integrity: Ensure the mechanical reliability of steam headers, demineralized water plants, and cooling water networks
• Turnaround & Shutdown Management: Define the mechanical scope for major plant turnarounds (TA) and supervise the overhaul of critical utility machinery
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success
