Sr. Principal HW Engineer

About the role

In this role, they will lead board-level hardware design, bring-up, and validation activities while contributing to system architecture and functional specifications. They will also partner closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineering, product operations, product management, software, and manufacturing, to deliver reliable, high-performance products.

What you'll do

• Define high-level system design specifications and create hardware functional specifications
• Design, bring up, and validate board-level digital circuits for networking, embedded, and optical products
• Develop CPLD and glue logic using Verilog RTL
• Collaborate with mechanical engineering on mechanical and thermal solutions, as well as system assembly and integration
• Partner with product operations and product management teams to support product development and delivery
