Sr Security Engineer

About the role

This role offers an opportunity to strengthen cybersecurity defenses within a global, technology-driven environment. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a key role in Security Operations Center (SOC) activities, monitoring threats, investigating alerts, and responding to security incidents. You will work closely with security, IT, compliance, risk, and business teams to protect critical systems and digital assets.

What you'll do

• As part of the Security Operations Center, you will help maintain a strong defensive security posture by identifying threats, coordinating incident response
• Act as a first responder by monitoring, investigating, assessing, and handling security events and alerts, escalating incidents when necessary
• Perform threat detection, investigation, and response activities to identify, contain, and remediate security incidents
• Maintain and manage endpoint protection solutions, including antivirus and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platforms
• Conduct security audits of internal systems to assess compliance with security standards and organizational policies
