Sr Software Engineer, Back End

About the role

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will own the design and reliability of Java services across checkout, commerce, identity and money movement for PayPal POS. You will lead the technical side of taking ownership of these services from our Sweden team: shape the plan, mentor engineers, and be the person we trust with critical payment and financial flows.

What you'll do

• Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations)
• Advises immediate management on project-level issues

What you need

• 3–6 yrs of experience
• Java
• POS
• Any graduate
