Sr. Technical Program Manager, Business Data Technologies

About the role

We own the fine-grained access control system that governs every analytical query across Amazon's data lake: policy definition, access requests, approval workflows, permission enforcement, and renewal.

What you'll do

• The problems are genuinely hard: balancing security with usability, scaling fine-grained controls without drowning consumers in friction
• Shape the roadmap, not just execute it
• Drive large outcomes by influencing across organizational boundaries, creating structure in ambiguous spaces, and shipping programs that balance security with usability
• Need to understand distributed systems, data access control models, and policy frameworks well enough to challenge designs, identify risks early
• Own complex, multi-quarter programs end-to-end, from requirements through delivery to adoption, spanning engineering, product, UX, and compliance teams

What you need

• 7–13 yrs of experience
• AWS
• Any graduate

Good to have

• Project management
