Staff Applied Scientist

About the role

We’re hiring a Staff Applied Scientist to help build the knowledge and AI foundation behind Loopio’s products. This role is for someone who has built knowledge graphs and AI agents in production and wants to own the science behind them. As a Staff-level scientist, you’ll also set technical direction, mentor senior talent, and shape how applied ML is done across the team.

What you'll do

• Design and build knowledge graphs that turn unstructured content into structured, reliable knowledge
• Build agents and agentic retrieval systems that find, check, and use that knowledge
• Use feedback from real users to keep knowledge accurate and improve results over time
• Define how we measure quality, and use those measures to decide what ships
• Set technical direction and make build vs. buy calls on tools and approaches

What you need

• 8–14 yrs of experience
• Machine learning
• Python
• LLMs
• NLP
• Any graduate
