Staff Engineer, Core Infrastructure

About the role

Staff Engineer, Core Infrastructure at Stripe. As a Staff Engineer on REP, you will play a key leadership role in enabling Stripe's infrastructure to power all of our products, globally and at scale.

What you'll do

• Define the checks that must pass before launch or failover, build validation systems that replay real production paths against regional infrastructure
• Also help build Core Infrastructure's senior technical bench in Bangalore through design review, mentoring, and cross-region technical leadership
• Define evidence-based readiness criteria for regional launches, traffic migrations, and failovers — replacing manual checklists with repeatable
