Staff Engineer Software - AUTOSAR MCAL

About the role

We are looking for hands-on embedded software engineers to develop AUTOSAR-compliant MCAL components for next-generation MIPS RISC-V automotive real-time MCUs. You will work across driver development, hardware bring-up, safety-compliant engineering, integration, and validation for applications including ADAS, powertrain, body electronics, and domain controllers.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain AUTOSAR MCAL drivers for peripherals such as ADC, PWM, GPT, ICU, DIO, PORT, CAN, LIN, SPI, UART, WDG, MCU, FLS, and Ethernet
• Own assigned MCAL modules across requirements analysis, design, coding, configuration, unit testing, integration, and validation
• Implement software in compliance with MISRA C and AUTOSAR coding guidelines, and resolve findings from static-analysis tools
• Create software design descriptions, configuration guidance, test specifications, traceability, and other required engineering work products
• Bring up and debug MCAL drivers on FPGA and silicon using Lauterbach, iSystem, or similar embedded debug tools
