Staff R&D/Product DVL Engineer

About the role

The Data and Devices Business Unit is looking for a Staff R&D Product Development Engineer (PDE) to design and develop socket, high speed connector and cable assembly solutions. In this role you will be responsible for the design and documentation of new products, from market definition through production and release.

• Conceive concepts and perform feasibility studies
• Run mechanical and thermal simulations
• Make the engineering evaluation/proposal to the customer
• Create the detailed design including 2D/3D drawings and perform DFMEA/tolerance analysis

What you need

• 12–22 yrs of experience
• FMEA
• Mechanical engineering
• GD&T
• ANSYS
• Root cause analysis
• Creo
• B.Tech or B.E.
