Staff Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer who is passionate about building scalable, high-quality software and mentoring engineering teams. This role requires a strong hands-on technologist with deep expertise in Ruby on Rails, experience designing distributed systems, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-growing, high-scale environment.

What you'll do

• Coach and mentor engineers, helping develop some of the best technical talent in the industry
• Build high-quality, scalable, and reliable software that is widely adopted by customers
• Architect and scale features to handle 2x–4x annual growth, managing systems with millions of records and terabytes of data
• Play a key role in technical design and architectural decisions, building toward an efficient microservices-based distributed architecture
• Drive best practices around code quality, performance, security, and maintainability
