Static Engineer

About the role

Static Engineer at Quest Global. Broad and extensive knowledge of Static Equipment Industry - design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria, including ASME Code Section VIII.

What you'll do

• Knowledgeable of mechanical properties and degradation mechanisms for common materials of construction such as carbon steel, low chrome and nickel alloy steels
• Design, fabrication & construction experience in atmospheric, pressurized storage tanks and spheres, external, internal floating roofs and geodesic dome roofs
• Knowledgeable on tank foundation and tank settlements
• Experienced in the interpretation of in service and out of service storage tank inspection data
• Multiple prior assignments that provide a variety of exposure to global oil & gas operations

What you need

• 5–9 yrs of experience
• Mechanical engineering
• MS Office
• Fabrication
• Troubleshooting
• B.Tech or B.E.
