About the role

Possess strong knowledge of alloy steel melting , secondary metallurgy, and clean steel-making practices. Ensure compliance with quality management systems, process standards, and customer requirements. Monitor and control key process parameters to achieve desired metallurgical and product quality results.

What you'll do

• Manage overall heat-wise operations of LF/VD and lead shift activities while ensuring safe and efficient working practices
• Operate and monitor LF (Ladle Furnace) and VD (Vacuum Degassing) processes to achieve production and quality targets
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems, process standards, and customer requirements
• Monitor and control key process parameters to achieve desired metallurgical and product quality results
• Manage raw material, alloy additions, and consumable inventory effectively to support uninterrupted operations
