About the role

Acting as the commodity SME and strategic owner 12-16 years experience in Strategic Sourcing/Commodity Management Has independently managed global commodities and significant spend Ideally from semiconductor equipment, electronics, aerospace, industrial automation, medical devices or other capital equipment background

What you'll do

  • Owning end-to-end strategy for Cable & Harness commodities - cables, wires, connectors, harnesses, sensors
  • Driving strategic sourcing, negotiations, contracts/LTAs and cost optimisation
  • Managing supplier capacity, continuity, dual sourcing and supply-chain risks
  • Partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain on NPI and technical requirements
  • Driving VAVE, should-cost analysis, bench marking and productivity initiatives

What you need

  • 12–16 yrs of experience
