Supplier Development Engineer

About the role

A Supply Chain Development Engineer is responsible for designing, improving, and implementing supply chain processes, systems, and strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality, and support business growth.

What you'll do

• Conduct Risk Assessments, Rate Readiness Assessments, Process Capability
• Drive consistency and adherence to quality procedures and specification requirements
• Contribute to problem solving and process improvement activities, using standard approaches and tools
• Participate on definition of material specifications with Engineering Process Engineering, Purchasing and supplier
• Establish supplier development programs at respective suppliers with the assigned commodity and follow up corrective actions and results of those programs
