Supplier Quality Engineer - Mechanical

What you'll do

• The Supplier Quality Engineer – Mechanical is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability
• Drive supplier quality from new product development through mass production, including PPAP, supplier audits, process validation, problem solving, supplier development
• The engineer will work closely with Design, VCD, Manufacturing, IQC, and suppliers to prevent quality issues and establish robust supplier processes
• Own quality performance of assigned mechanical suppliers
• Monitor supplier KPIs including PPM, rejection rate, line rejection, customer complaints, 8D closure, and repeat issues

What you need

• 5–10 yrs of experience
• PPAP
• GD&T
• Root cause analysis
• Mechanical engineering
• FMEA
• SPC
• B.Tech or B.E. or Diploma

Good to have

• IATF 16949
• APQP
• SOP writing
