Supply Planner

About the role

Whether in the design and safety of new generations of cars, trucks, and planes or optimizing advanced medical equipment and consumer products, VPG’s deep engineering expertise makes the world safer, smarter, and more productive. We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Planner at Oragadam, Chennai to join our Planning team on a full-time basis.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain supply plans based on demand forecasts, customer orders, backlog, inventory policy and business priorities
• Review demand and supply exceptions, identify shortages or capacity constraints, and translate risks into clear mitigation and recovery plans
• Monitor inventory levels against service and inventory objectives, recommending actions to address shortages, excess and obsolete exposure
• Own material and product availability from a planning perspective, including requirement timing, prioritization, allocation and escalation
• Coordinate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics and Demand Planning to align supply execution with customer and operational needs
