Survey Review Advisor

About the role

Review and quality assure cargo survey reports to ensure that findings are complete, accurate and adequately supported by evidence. Ensure survey findings provide relevant information to support claims assessment, liability determination, recovery and loss-prevention activities. Identify gaps in survey investigations and engage with surveyors to obtain necessary clarification, documentation or additional evidence.

What you'll do

• Review cargo survey reports received from surveyors globally and ensure timely completion of reviews in accordance with agreed service levels
• Critically assess survey findings, photographs and supporting documentation for completeness, consistency and quality
• Assess whether survey reports adequately establish the nature, extent and probable cause of cargo damage
• Identify missing information, evidence, documentation or inconsistencies and follow up with surveyors for clarification or supplementary reporting
• Review survey conclusions and ensure they are appropriately supported by the factual evidence available
