About the role
The System Engineer will be responsible for engineering, design, and configuration of Substation Automation Systems (SAS) across various voltage levels for customers including Central/State utilities, private utilities, industries, and infrastructure power systems.
What you'll do
- Prepare various System Architectures based on project and customer requirements
- Prepare and validate Bill of Materials (BOM), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, schematics, system architecture, and configurations
- Apply knowledge of communication and networking protocols used in Substation Automation Systems
- Work with serial and Ethernet-based communication protocols used in SAS
- Design and understand networking topologies such as Ring, HSR, and PRP
