System Engineer TCMS – Safety Equipment

About the role

As a System Engineer – TCMS Safety Equipment, you will be responsible for development and integration of safety-related functionalities and onboard safety equipment within the Train Control & Management System (TCMS). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, reliable, and standards-compliant train operation across rolling stock platforms.

What you'll do

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, reliable, and standards-compliant train operation across rolling stock platforms
• Define and develop safety equipment functionalities within TCMS architecture
• Develop operation logics related to emergency systems, safety interlocks, alarms, vigilance, fire detection, and safety monitoring functions
• Define communication interfaces with onboard safety systems using MVB, Ethernet, WTB, or TRDP protocols
• Develop fault handling, diagnostics, alarm management, and operational monitoring concepts for safety equipment

What you need

• 5–10 yrs of experience
• B.Tech or B.E.
