Systems Engineer Telescope

About the role

In this role, you will lead the systems engineering for dedicated ground-based telescopes for SSA, with a future roadmap expanding into Directed Energy Weapons (DEWs), ship-based SSA observatories, and other advanced tactical technologies.

What you'll do

• Define, document, and manage system requirements throughout the product life cycle
• Plan, configure and allocate requirements to subsystems, ensuring coherence and traceability throughout the design process
• Perform system-level trade-off studies to optimize performance, reliability, and cost
• Architect and integrate complex electro-optical tracking systems capable of rapid acquisition and high-fidelity tracking of both orbital and atmospheric targets
• Develop system architectures that scale from static ground observatories to dynamic, ruggedized maritime environments (ship-based SSA)

What you need

• 2–5 yrs of experience

• B.Tech or B.E.
