Technical Business Analyst I

About the role

As a Technical Business Analyst within Life & Health Re, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering AI-driven capabilities that are transforming how Swiss Re manages and monitors its global L&H portfolio. You will act as the critical bridge between business stakeholders, AI/data teams, and technology delivery — ensuring that solutions are not only well-specified and rigorously tested, but trusted, adopted, and built to last.

What you'll do

• Build and nurture trusted relationships with internal L&H business partners across underwriting, in-force management, operations, and actuarial functions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to brainstorm ideas, shape use cases, and define MVP scope aligned with the long-term AI product vision
• Capture and document complex business requirements , translating them into clear
• Analyze business problems using data-driven approaches, leveraging SQL-based analysis to uncover insights and support decision-making
• Translate business requirements into structured analytical thinking, working closely with AI and data teams to ensure model outputs, recommendations
