About the role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in machine tools, High Precision Special Purpose Machines (SPM), sheet metal design, and strong proficiency in SolidWorks and PDM systems. The role involves end-to-end design, validation, and documentation of mechanical systems.
What you'll do
- Design components for Machine Tools, SPMs, and automation equipment
- Develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D drawings using SolidWorks
- Prepare manufacturing drawings with GD&T and perform tolerance analysis
- Perform engineering calculations and material selection wherever required
- Participate in ECN/ECO processes including preparing engineering change requests, evaluating impacts, and updating documentation
