Technical Manager – Mechanical Design for Oil & Gas

About the role

The Principal Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for leading the mechanical design, engineering, and development of equipment, packages, and systems used in the Oil & Gas industry. The role involves providing technical leadership, ensuring compliance with international standards, overseeing design reviews, supporting project execution, and mentoring engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle from concept through commissioning.

What you'll do

• Lead mechanical design activities for Oil & Gas projects, including upstream, midstream, and downstream facilities
• Provide subject matter expertise for static and rotating equipment, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping systems, skids, and packaged equipment
• Develop engineering solutions that optimize safety, reliability, operability, and cost
• Review and approve engineering calculations, design reports, specifications, and drawings
