Technical Professional -Furnace Mechanical

About the role

The role will involve furnace engineering activities from design basis and equipment sizing through detailed engineering, in accordance with applicable codes, project specifications, and constructability requirements, as well as providing engineering support to procurement, fabrication, construction, and site installation activities.

What you'll do

• Develop thermal and mechanical design requirements in alignment with project-specific requirements
• Prepare Furnace BOQ/MTO estimates for proposals and projects
• Perform Pressure Part Calculation for Heater/Ethylene/Reformer Tubes, Inlet System, Transfer Line by API/ASME B31.3/ASME SEC I/ ASME SecVIII DivI
• Perform design of Heater Coil supports (Radiant tube support brackets, Convection intermediate tube supports & Coil inlet/Outlet Terminal support etc
• Review of Refractory Design and Calculation

What you need

• 4–7 yrs of experience
• Mechanical engineering
• Quantity estimation
• Fabrication
• B.Tech or B.E.
