About the role
Mastercard is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Software Developer (Level 6) to join our Cards & Payments technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Mainframe technologies and Python development , with additional experience in Java Spring Boot .
What you'll do
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable solutions within the Cards & Payments domain
- Develop and maintain high-performance Mainframe applications supporting critical payment processing functions
- Build and enhance automation, integration, and data-processing solutions using Python
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical projects
- Participate in modernization initiatives by integrating Mainframe systems with distributed applications and APIs
