Technology Engineering Leader (Skill Chapter Lead)

About the role

How will you make an impact? We are looking for a Skill Chapter Lead for the Procurement and Upstream Supply Chain Engineering chapter (Platform). The Procurement and Supply Chain Tech fosters excellence in engineering and operations, defines standards, drives technology decisions, builds future oriented capabilities in a people growth-oriented environment for the core wholesale processes and solutions within METRO.

What you'll do

• Act as a line manager and coach for the chapter members and help people with their growth
• Supporting Squad/platform leads in project delivery, with a strong technology background
• Develop chapter strategies for future oriented capability evolution and foster a culture of learning, collaboration and innovation within the chapter
• Define and enforce best practices, standards, methodologies and ensure to use common technical approaches
• Promote knowledge sharing across squads and chapters (incl. support for building communities)

What you need
