Test Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced ETL Tester to validate data movement, transformation logic, data quality, and reporting accuracy across enterprise data warehouse and analytics platforms. The candidate will work closely with development, business, and QA teams to understand requirements, prepare test scenarios, execute data validation, identify defects, and ensure end-to-end data integrity across source, staging, and target systems.

What you'll do

• Analyze business requirements, mapping documents, technical design documents, and data flow specifications to identify test scope and scenarios
• Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, test data, SQL validation scripts, and expected results for ETL and data warehouse testing
• Perform source-to-target data validation across databases, files, staging tables, data marts, and reporting layers
• Execute backend database testing using complex SQL queries, joins, subqueries, analytical functions, and stored procedures where required
• Perform data quality checks including completeness, accuracy, consistency, duplication, null checks, format validation, and referential integrity checks
