TIG/MIG Welder (Apprenticeship)

About the role

Perform welding and fabrication of robot components, assemblies, and structural parts using processes such as MIG, TIG, and Arc welding. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication. Prepare materials through cutting, grinding, fitting, and alignment before welding.

What you'll do

• Perform welding and fabrication of robot components, assemblies, and structural parts using processes such as MIG, TIG, and Arc welding
• Prepare materials through cutting, grinding, fitting, and alignment before welding
• Ensure strong, defect-free welds that meet dimensional and quality requirements
• Conduct weld inspections and rectify defects such as cracks, porosity, distortion, or incomplete fusion
• Perform finishing operations including grinding, polishing, and dressing of weld joints
