Tool Maker

About the role

The Tool Maker is responsible for manufacturing/handling/maintenance of welding Fixtures, forming dies, pipe bending dies, structure handling beams and stands etc. Manufacturing precision components used in production processes.

What you'll do

• Manufacture and assemble tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Operate conventional CNC machines such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and EDM equipment
• Repair, troubleshoot and maintain production tooling to minimize downtime
• Read, interpret Engineering drawings and CAD models
• Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other inspection tools

What you need

• 3–6 yrs of experience
• CNC operation
• Mechanical engineering
• GD&T
• Preventive maintenance
• Quality control
• Lean manufacturing
• Diploma

Good to have

• CNC programming
