About the role

The IT Disaster Recovery (DR) SME is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving enterprise Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity capabilities. The role ensures critical business applications, infrastructure, databases, and cloud services can be recovered within agreed Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).

What you'll do

  • Disaster Recovery Strategy & Planning Develop and maintain enterprise Disaster Recovery strategies, frameworks, and standards
  • Define and manage application-specific RTO and RPO requirements
  • Conduct Business Impact Assessments (BIA) and risk assessments
  • Establish disaster recovery architectures for on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments
  • DR Operations & Governance Maintain DR documentation, recovery procedures, and runbooks
