About the role
Lead AIX security remediation, NIM-based patching, automation and complex platform recovery across enterprise midrange environments.
What you'll do
- Own AIX vulnerability remediation and patching strategy, readiness, execution, validation and rollback
- Administer and optimize NIM infrastructure, mksysb/spot/lpp_source workflows and scalable patch deployment
- Lead AIX security hardening, technology-level/service-pack planning and complex troubleshooting
- Build automation using Ansible and Shell for pre-checks, deployment, validation, evidence and reporting
- Assess PowerVM, VIOS, LPAR, storage, network and application dependencies before implementation
