Trade Compliance Spec III

About the role

The primary responsibilities of this position are to assist the Trade Compliance Manager in the development, implementation and maintenance of both import and export compliance programs and GTS. The Trade Compliance Specialist is a subject matter expert in one or more specific areas of the law such as HTS Classification, Customs Valuation, Country of Origin Determination, Broker Management, etc.

What you'll do

• Supports projects focused on improving import/export operations and processes in the APAC region
• Maintains and assists with the creation and implementation of Bio-Rad’s export and import compliance procedures and work instructions
• Responsible for broker compliance verification via auditing import/export transactions and files
• Performs Customs compliance audits and reports audit results
• Exercises judgement with latitude to propose and implement improvements in the Trade Compliance policies
