Trainer - Full Underwriter

About the role

As a Trainer - Full Underwriter in our Operations department, you will play a key role in developing, delivering, and maintaining high-quality training programs for our full underwriting teams. You will be responsible for equipping underwriters with the technical knowledge, risk assessment skills, and process expertise needed to make sound underwriting decisions while adhering to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and service-level expectations.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and deliver training programs focused on full underwriting processes, policies, and systems for new hires and existing staff
• Facilitate instructor-led training (virtual and in-person) to support onboarding, upskilling, cross-training, and ongoing education of underwriters
• Translate complex underwriting guidelines, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory requirements into clear, practical learning content
• Create and maintain training materials including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, e-learning modules, and assessments
• Conduct regular needs analyses in partnership with Operations leadership and Quality/Compliance teams to identify performance gaps and training opportunities
