About the role

T&D structural engineers (within the Energy & Resources BU of Stantec), plan, design, and deliver engineering projects primarily in transmission and distribution, power generation and substation sectors. They will also get engaged with O&G, mining, and other heavy industrial process plants as and when required.

What you'll do

  • Preparing plans, specifications, and design packages for transmission line projects
  • Producing technical presentations and design drawings
  • Perform detailed studies, review plans, transmission line modeling and design tasks associated with utilities or other types of projects
  • Support construction projects with responding to RFIs
  • Optioneering and outline design relating to Transmission & Distribution and Industrial projects

What you need

  • 10–12 yrs of experience
  • Power systems
  • Construction
  • AutoCAD
  • Surveying
  • B.Tech or B.E.

Good to have

  • STAAD Pro
  • ANSYS
