Upwork Bidding Specialist (Business Development)

About the role

This isn’t a “send 50 bids a day” job. You’ll be the first voice our clients hear, owning the journey from spotting a high-fit opportunity to signing the contract. You’ll cover Web & App Development, UI/UX & Graphic Design, and Digital Marketing/SEO , and your work will directly drive our pipeline and revenue.

What you'll do

• Scout and shortlist Upwork jobs that match our strengths, and skip the ones that don’t
• Spend Connects strategically, focusing on quality leads over volume
• Write personalized proposals that speak to each client’s problem (no templates, no recycled pitches)
• Handle the full conversation: first reply, discovery, scoping, negotiation, and closing
• Negotiate scope, pricing, and timelines within company guidelines

What you need
