What you'll do

• Design 3D models and assemblies in commonly used CAD platforms
• Ensure bracket designs and fastening methods withstand automotive vibration, thermal cycling, and harsh operating environments
• Generate production-ready 2D design drawings with the relevant dimensions and tolerances
• Analyze packaging constraints, clearance limits, and access/ergonomic requirements within various vehicle compartments (e.g., engine bay, cabin, under body, boot space)
• Apply clear understanding of DFMA and process capabilities (e.g., stamping, bending, CNC machining, laser cutting) to design cost-effective

What you need

• 5–7 yrs of experience
• Creo
• Mechanical engineering
• CATIA
• SolidWorks
• Fabrication
• CNC operation
• B.Tech or B.E.
