About the role

By connecting markets East & West, Nomura services the needs of individuals, institutions, corporates and governments through its four business divisions: Wealth Management, Investment Management, Wholesale (Global Markets and Investment Banking), and Banking. Nomura Services, India supports the group’s global businesses.

What you'll do

• This is a technical leadership role
• Be the most senior engineer in the region, responsible for both hands-on delivery and for establishing the engineering culture locally
• Newport3 is a mature institutional trading platform with a large, modular codebase
• Act as the regional bridge to the remote core team and contribute to longer-horizon decisions including a potential shift toward a modern UI stack
• Lead the local team's technical direction — own architecture decisions for features and modules assigned to the region, with alignment to the broader distributed team
