About the role

The Virtualization Team is responsible for designing, deploying, and operating the virtualization layer that underpins FactSet's infrastructure — from traditional vSphere environments across our global data centers to a growing Kubernetes-native virtualization platform that serves as the foundation for our internal developer platform.

What you'll do

  • Administer and evolve our KubeVirt and Rancher Harvester hyperconverged infrastructure as part of our internal developer platform
  • Design, deploy, and operate vSphere environments across data centers, offices, global POPs, and remote client locations
  • Manage VM lifecycle across both traditional and Kubernetes-native virtualization platforms, including live migration, capacity planning, and cluster maintenance
  • Collaborate with platform and application teams to define and implement virtualization requirements for new and existing workloads
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance and stability issues across vSphere, KubeVirt, and Harvester environments
